Rage with the Galaxy is DONE
Done & Dope. It has some very interesting tracks on there.. some new, some old. I like to NOT waste music, so I tend to find placements for my old dope stuff too kna'mean.. Even if you DON'T get it when it first drops, it'll hit home soon! Not saying everybody won't get it, but it's just some songs are very personal and were wrote within destruction of self. You may or may not have reached that point in your life yet, but I have.. So.. I make music about it. I member i didn't wanna release alotta music becuase of my personal standards, but niggas kept asking so now i'm just preparing y'all with every mixtape n giving you some insight on what's to come.. Everything i'm putting out now is a index.. If you pay attention to EVERYTHING I drop, you'll notice. Be good mayne, i'm just detoxing my heart now. Veezy

Powerful
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

yeahhhhhhhhh boy
As soon as I get the tour schedule, i'll post em.. Leaving Houston for AWHILE next month. Gonna go dip in Hawaii till July when I come back to go on tour, but it's all good mayne.. It's funny how some shed light on a situation can change the whole perspective and make you wanna get stronger than you were.. being at least. You can't stop people from doing anything, so DON'T let them stop you. People aint shit, unless you ADMIRE them.. And at this point, I only admire myself for the most part. I see some people that wanna do things, but just scared too. Me, I'm used to pain.. used to struggle.. used to failure.. it's nothing, but learning experiances and these things tend to build character. And thats what this game is all about, CHARACTER. You need that shit, especially in music, it's more about images with rap fans.. I know that.. But shit, I don't have a team of graphic designers I can hire lol, I just make dope music. That's all i'm really positive I forever can do.

Ocean View
Accountably the recent things i've been doing have been very out of character for me. Publicly tryna to end myself & career over emotional discharge. It's all over things I feel I can't handle sometimes. The main thing I have to stress to myself is that it's NOT the end of the world. Alotta things sadden me about my life, and sometimes I don't even wanna be near myself so I resort to things to take me away. Music gets 50% of the job done, but it doesn't always comfort me. It's hard to accept some things that may happen to you in your lifetime, but whatever you go through is a journey which means a passing period. With it being a passing period, it means "This too, shall pass" which is in the bible. But don't quote me, i'm not an avid bible reader nor quoter. It sickens me the things people do to bring you down. I say nothing bad about anybody nor I do I attempt to find a presence in people's lives where I wouldn't be welcome. Be careful falling in love because just because YOUR IN LOVE DOESN'T MEAN THE OTHER PERSON IS. I say that to say this, relationships are waves.. Some can be very forceful while others are just learning experiances. One day your gonna be overcome by a wave that takes you over forcefully with nothing you can do about it. When that happens, you'll like it. Want it. Eventually, fall in Love with it. Just be careful.

"HMM"
what if i did a free concert with some of my friends in the same vein as Woodstock some where random in the united states, would you spread the word and swing thru? ive been thinkin about using the power of u guys (my fans) to help me out with something epic and that would be pretty awesome. however i have to keep remindin myself its not 1969 and i would more than likely run into some issues.
thoughts?
do you think it would work? id probably have the majority of the acts be unsigned or signed indie bands/groups/artists to help bring back authenticity into the mainstream. (ALSO ELIMINATING EGOS, excluding Kanye because hes awesome and my brother and its my festival and i can do what i want and yall would wanna see him rock shit anyway so STEP OFF! lol)
the purpose of me wanting to do this is because shit is weak and we need to remind people that whats on the radio or on itunes top list doesnt always determine what this generation is THINKING. music in the past decade has mostly been one big circus of fuckery. i want to remind people of the reality of our youth, everything has been so peachy and glamorous looking to cover up how we all really feel. people call my music emo or depressing but those are people wearing masks afraid to align there minds with their souls. thats how all music was at some point, honest and raw. my music is the stuff most of you think about but wont say cause you dont like to talk about how you feel to people or your just a thinker like myself. if someone thinks my music is a downer, then they didnt listen, and are avoiding self exploration (as my homie Sakiya has said). of course im gonna sound suicidal when damn near everything else sounds like cheese balls. guess what mainstream america, not a lot of kids are happy with life, they arnt rich and dont know what they wanna do with themselves. music needs to cover all angles and rite now theres nothing happening. we all have a big sheet being thrown over our eyes to distract us from whats really goin on in our minds and the world. im bringin back raw, unedited, honest and uncomfortable thoughts of the youth.
i think because musicians get paid large sums of money for mediocrity, it distract us from using the power of music to connect with people. the more money you start to get for making shit you barely worked hard to make, the less you start to care about authenticity and using music to help people. these are just my views, im some what of a hippie (officially comfirmed by the big homie Jay Stern) but understand, im trying to understand my purpose in life everyday like many other kids and im pretty damn for certain God gave me this talent to say some shit worth saying, like many others hes blessed with the gift of song.
well, i wasnt plannin on writing that much ha
peace and love and lemme know what you guys think about the festival
heres a quote from Max Yasgur, the the cool as hell dairy farmer who allowed Woodstock to take place on his property
“I hear you are considering changing the zoning law to prevent the festival. I hear you don’t like the look of the kids who are working at the site. I hear you don’t like their lifestyle. I hear you don’t like they are against the war and that they say so very loudly. . . I don’t particularly like the looks of some of those kids either. I don’t particularly like their lifestyle, especially the drugs and free love. And I don’t like what some of them are saying about our government. However, if I know my American history, tens of thousands of Americans in uniform gave their lives in war after war just so those kids would have the freedom to do exactly what they are doing. That’s what this Country is all about and I am not going to let you throw them out of our Town just because you don’t like their dress or their hair or the way they live or what they believe. This is America and they are going to have their festival.”

Drake
I don't think people really understand how talented this dude is. He's making shit to sell to the mainstream, and appeal to the streets n underground listeners at the same time.. It's obvious Young Money is about making money. Drake has GOOD mentors, he's doing everything he's spose to do. Word

Good Move Trae.
Trae does ALOT for the city, and for them to BAN his music just shows how MUCH Houston doesn't support it's own artist. I hope Trae wins the case mayne.

Ratatat
Posting this becuase i'm doing a Ratatat mixtape. Been a fan for awhile. My friends put me onto techno/electronic music which is how the Daft Punk mixtape came about outta nowhere. I change so much ona daily, and it's ALOT I wanna say. Being that it's so many ways I can creatively express myself. I tend to not describe my style and just do my thang. On this mixtape so far, i've been singing way more to vent out some pain i've recently gotten. Plus, I just fucking love singing.
